Talend Community User Group Bristol and South West UK
KETL is a Gold Talend Consulting partner and our Director, Ian Cray, and our Data Scientist, Simon Sleight, have worked on projects all around the world on behalf of Talend as systems integration consultants. Ian and Simon are both also trainers for Talend. We have set up Talend community user group Bristol and the South West UK to enable all of us that work using Talend products to network and learn from each other.
Our next event
We are looking forward to our next user group event Thursday 22nd June at the Royal Navy Volunteer from 6pm. Our focus will be Talend Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
You can sign up for the event via Meetup.

Our January 28th 2016 event looked at some use cases for the Talend 6.2 and the Spark streaming and batch processing capabilities. We also heard about preparing your business for better data management and some of the strategies that you could implement.
Our event from 1st October considered when it is and when it is not cost effective to use the (free) community version of Talend.
For our second event we were lucky enough to have Mike Newens from Age UK come along to share his experience as a new to Talend user. Here is the Age UK case study presentation.
Here is the presentation from KETL's data management consultant, Josh Hinett, showing how he built a post code verification tool in Talend that can be embedded in to a website.
