Talend Community User Group Bristol and South West UK

KETL is a Gold Talend Consulting partner and our Director, Ian Cray, and our Data Scientist, Simon Sleight, have worked on projects all around the world on behalf of Talend as systems integration consultants. Ian and Simon are both also trainers for Talend. We have set up Talend community user group Bristol and the South West UK to enable all of us that work using Talend products to network and learn from each other.

Our next event

We are planning to hold our next event in 2018 so we will keep this page updated with the date as soon as it is available.

The report from our last event

Thursday 5th May from 6.00pm at Cafe du Jour Park Street Bristol

We were delighted that Salesforce integrators Desynit joined us at the Talend Community User Group in May. We were looking at Talend and Salesforce integration to create very powerful solutions. You can read the report on the event here.

Sign up to our TCUGBSW LinkedIn group you can keep informed about our latest activity.

Talend is one of the world leaders in providing data integration technology you can see what how Talend users around the world have benefited by reading some customer case studies.

Our January 28th 2016 event looked at some use cases for the Talend 6.2 and the Spark streaming and batch processing capabilities. We also heard about preparing your business for better data management and some of the strategies that you could implement.

Talend Community Use Group Bristol: Preparing your business for mastering data management from KETL Limited

Our event from 1st October considered when it is and when it is not cost effective to use the (free) community version of Talend.

For our second event we were lucky enough to have Mike Newens from Age UK come along to share his experience as a new to Talend user. Here is the Age UK case study presentation.

Here is the presentation from KETL's data management consultant, Josh Hinett, showing how he built a post code verification tool in Talend that can be embedded in to a website.

This report is from our launch event of the community user group.
